Tomato Rice

Ingredients

Cooked Rice     –  2 cup  ( Basmathi rice)
Tomato             –  2   ( finely chopped )
Onion                 – 1 finely chopped
Green Chillies    –  3  (cut into very small pcs)
Coriander Leaves –  as required
Curry leaves      – as required
Urud dal            –  1 tsp
Cumin Seed      –  ¼ tsp
Dried chilly        – 1
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Oil                    – 2 tsp
Solt                  – to taste

 

Method of cooking

Heat Tawa and pour the oil into it and heat. Put mustard seed, urud dal and cumin seed into it and fry.  Add t onion,  green chilly , curry leaves into it and roast for some time. Add tomato, turmeric powder, and salt and roast for some more time. Take this out from stove and add this mixture into the cooked rice and mix well. Put the content into a small bowl and furnish it with coriander leaves.
