Butter – 2 table spoon
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Chicken stock – 1 ¼ cup
Basmati rice – 2 cup
Salt – ½ tea spoon
Bay leaf – 4
Saffron – 8 grains
Badam (almonds) – 5 ounce chopped

Method of preparation

Take a big sauce pan. Heat the butter. Add cinnamon , chicken stock, salt, bay leaf, and two cup of water and boil, then add the cleaned rice and cook it for ten minutes by closing the lid. Then add the soaked saffron into it. when the rice gets cooked as required remove it from the stove. remove the bay leaf and spread the almonds (badam) on top of it. Can serve hot.
