Panjappul Powder – 1 cup
Rice flour – ½ cup
Yeasts – ½ tea spoon
Sugar – 2 tea spoon
Hot water – ½ cup
Coconut water – 1 cup
Kurukkanulla Thari – ¼ cup
Coconut milk – 2 cup
Sugar – 1 tea spoon
Salt – as required

Method of preparation

Mix the sugar and yeasts and mix it with hot milk and keep it aside to get fermented. When it get fermented add Panjappul , rice flour, coconut water and mix it without forming lumps. Pour the hot water and add the powder into it and knead it. then add required coconut milk and mix and keep it aside. After four hours when the batter get fermented add sugar and salt and mix. Then make appams in Appa chatty.
