Rice , grated coconut – 2 cup each
Onion – 5 nos
Fennel seed – 1 tea spoon
Cardamom – 4 nos
Salt / coconut oil – As required
Maida – ½ cup
Ghee – 2 table spoon

Method of preparation

Soak the rice in Luke warm water . Clean the rice and grind it by adding the ingredients from 2 to 6 along with water to make a thick paste until you get a coarse and grainy mixture. Then knead it by adding maida and ghee and make a dough. Keep this aside for one hour. After that make the dough into small balls and flatten it into thick discs . Take a pan and heat the coconut oil and put into the hot oil and fry both sides . Pathiri is ready
