Idili – 4 nos
Kadalamavu (besan)- ½ cup
Ginger (chopped into small pcs)- 1 tsp
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Green chillies (cut round) – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – as required
Dalda (heated) – 1 tsp
Oil – to fry


Mix Kadalamavu (besan), Ginger, Chilli powder, green chillies, Curry leaves and dalda to form a thick batter. Then cut the idli and dip it in the batter and fry In oil. You can serve this hot with chutney.
