Moong Dal (Cherupayar) – ¾ cup
Wheat Flour – 3 Cup
Green Chilly – 2
Cumin seed – ½ Spoon
Turmeric Powder – ½ spoon
Salt / Ghee / Coriander Leaves

Method of preparation

Cook the dal separately and allow it cool for some time. Add Salt , turmeric powder, chopped coriander leaves, cumin seed in to the wheat flour and mix well. Then add the cooked cherupayar parippu and enough water and knead into a soft dough. Then you can roll out the little portion of dough into a circle like Chappathi . Heat a tawa and cook the chappathi using little ghee till the golden spots appear on both sides. This will be good with Pudina Chutney.
