Ingredients

Basmathi Rice – 5 ½ cup ( soak the rice in water for twenty minutes and drain out the water)
Onion chopped small – 2 cup
Potato chopped small – 2 cup
Carrot chopped small – 2 cup
Beans chopped small – 1 cup
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
Water – 4 cup
Butter – 100 gram
Cumin seed – 1 tea spoon
Cinnamon – 3 pieces
Cloves – 10
Pepper – 10 – 15
Vazhana ila – 5
Cashew nut, kismis – fried as required
Coriander leaves – 1 cup
Salt – as required

Method of preparation

When the butter gets heated, add vazhana ila, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, cumin seed and pepper and fry. When it gets fried as required, add onion and sauté. Later add the chopped vegetables one by one and sauté. Lastly add soaked basmati rice and sauté for 3 – 4 minutes. Add turmeric powder and required salt into it. then add coconut milm and water and mix and then cook it in low flame by closing the lid. When it gets cooked coriander leaves, fried cashew nuts, and kismis and can serve.
