Ingredients

Unakka Ayala ( cleaned ) – ½ kilo
Water – 1 ½ cup
Chembu cheruthu – ½ kilo ( cut into small pieces)
Salt – as required
Green chilly ( slit) – 4
Kudampuli (cut into two) – 6 pieces
Coconut – 1 ½ cup
Turmeric powder – 1 tea spoon
Garlic – 4 cloves
Curry leaves – 2 strip
Shallots – 1 tea spoon (chopped)
Mustard seed – 1 tea spoon
Coconut oil – 2 table spoon

Method of preparation

Clean the unakka ayala and soak it in water for ten minutes. Take the chembu, Unakka ayala, Kudampuli, green chillies, salt in a vessel and cook it.
Add turmeric powder, garlic paste shallot paste into it. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seed and allow it to splutter. Then add the spluttered mix into the curry. Then add the shallots and curry leaves and fry.
