Fish – 1 Kilo
Tomato – 1
Shallots – 15
Garlic – 10
Ginger – 1 piece
Chilly powder – 2 tea spoon
Green chilly – 3
Turmeric powder – 1 tea spoon
Fenugreek seed – ½ tea spoon
Kudampuli – 4
Mustard seed – 1 tea spoon
Curry leaves
Coconut oil
Method of preparation
Clean the fish and cut it into small pieces. Marinate the fish with turmeric powder,and salt and keep it aside for some time. Then soak the kodampuli in water. Cut the shallots , garlic and ginger in thin long pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seed and fenugreek seed and make it to get spluttered. Add the chopped both onions, ginger into it.
When it gets saute add the chopped tomato into it and saute well. Then add the kudampuli juice into it. When it gets boiled, add the fish pieces into it. Cook it in low flame. When the fish get cooked and gravy gets thickened add curry leaves, coconut oil and remove from the stove.
