1.Nenthrapazham ( Plantain) – ½ kilo
Grated coconut – ½ portion
Cashew nut , kismis – 10 nos
Sugar – ¼ cup
Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
Refined oil – 250 gram

2.Jowari – 200 gram
Grated coconut – 1
Salt – 1 pinch
Sugar – ¼ cup
Cardamom – 2

Method of preparation

Boil the nenthapazham and grind to make a paste and keep it aside. Heat coconut oil in a pan and add the first mentioned ingredients and fry. Add the nenthapazham paste and make unnakaya. Then deep fry in oil

Take the grated coconut and crush a little to take the milk out of it. Take onnam pal ( thick milk) and randam pal ( medium thick milk) from it and keep it aside. Cook the jowari with the randam pal . add cardamom , salt and sugar and boil. Then add the onnam pal. Then remove the same from the stove. After that add the fried unnakaya into it. Roast the cashewnut and kismis in ghee and can add into the mixture and can serve hot.
