Ghee – one Cup , one tea spoon
Gram flour – 1 ¼ cup
Maida – 1 ¼ cup
(Sift both flours gram flour and Maida together)
Sugar – 2 ½ cup
Water – 1 ½ cup
Milk – 2 tea spoon
Cardamom – ½ tea spoon
Pista – ½ tea spoon

Method of preparation

Take a heavy sauce pan and Heat one cup of ghee . Add the maida and gram flour mix into the heated ghee and roast till it get golden brown . Add ¼ tea spoon of cardamom powder and mix well. Remove it from the stove and keep it aside to cool a little. Have to string it occasionally. Make syrup out of sugar, water and milk simultaneously. Milk is added into the syrup to remove the dirt of the sugar. Keep on removing the dirt When it comes to the surface . The syrup should be prepared in a low flame only. Only after dissolving the sugar completely you have to boil the syrup. The syrup should be very thick. Bring Syrup To 2 thread consistency. In order to check the consistency , take the syrup with the thump and the second finger and then spread the finger . The syrup should come to 2 thread consistency. Pour the syrup into the maida and gram flour mixture . mix well with a large fork till the mixture forms thread like flakes.

Grease a flat tawa with ghee . Pour the mixture in 1″ thickness. Sprinkle cardamom powder , pista and gently press down with palm. When it get slightly cool cut into equal squares, wrap it with individually with thin plastic sheet. Store it in a Air tight container
