1.Maida – 200 gram
2.Butter – 130 gram
3. Sarkara powder – 200 gram
4.Grated coconut – 75 gram
5.Vanilla essence – 1 tea spoon
6.Baking powder – 2 tea spoon
7.Potassium metabisulphite – ¼ tea spoon
8. Salt – little
Method of preparation
Dry the grated coconut for half an hour and then powder it in a mixer. ( you can also use the desiccated coconut powder which you get from the shop). Take Maida, baking powder, potassium metabisulphite,salt and mix it. Heat butter in a bowl. Add essence into into it and stir. Add coconut powder, sarkara powder into it and knead it to make a dough. Later make this dough into folding rolls. Then make pieces of one centimeter. Place the cut cookies into the ghee greased tray . pre heat the oven in 180 degree Celsius and place the tray into it and bake it for 15 – 20 minutes. Bake it till you get the light brown colour.
