Maida – 2 cup
Sugar – 2 tea spoon
Cashew nut chopped – ½ cup
Raisins – ½ cup
Baking powder – 1.2 spoon
Vanilla Essence – 1
Butter – 3 cup
Egg – 8 nos
Mixed Dry Fruits – 1 cup each
Cloves – 1

Method of preparation

First prepare the Caramel. Take a pan Heat oil. Add ½ cup of sugar and heat it in a low flame. Keep of stirring it till the sugar becomes (deep dark brown) Caramel colour. When the sugar forms thread consistency switch off the flame and add water and dissolve it. Mix it well till the sugar cubes get dissolve well.

Keep the Sugar Syrup for cooling. Take a bowl add maida, baking soda powder in equal measure and mix. Add butter and sugar powder and blend it by using the electronic beater till it get surfed. Take another pan and add the beaten egg and pour it in the remaining mixture. Add the cooled caramel, Dry fruits, powdered masala. Heat oven 350/180 c. Rub the butter in a cake pan and pour the prepared the cake mixture. And spread flat the top portion. . Bake it for 45 minutes in a oven till the top portion gets dark brown colour. When you get the required colour take out the cake from th oven. Decorate the cake with cherries. The tasty plum cake is ready to serve.
