Mango – ½ kg
Sugar – ¾ kg
Mango Essence – 1 ½ tsp
Lemon juice / citric acid – 1½ tsp
Clove, Cinnamon – If needed


Peel the mango and cut them into small pieces. Cook them in water together with crushed cloves and cinnamon. Once it is cooked remove the cloves and cinnamon from it. After that smash the mango thoroughly. Add sugar and lemon juice into it and heat it into a pasty form. When it reaches a sticky stage, add essence and Potassium meta bisulphate and stir well. Now the jam is ready and you can transfer it to bottles for storage. That’s all !!!
