Ingredients

1. Egg – 2
2. Milk – 1 table spoon
3. Butter- 12 gm
4. Water- 2 table spoon
5. Lemon juice – 2 teaspoon
6. Brown sugar – 3/4 cup
7. Food color, yellow
8. Baking powder – 1 1/2 teaspoon
9. Maida – 2 cup
10. Lemon juice beaten with butter – 2 teaspoon
11. Icing sugar – 1 1/2 cup

Method

Sieve together the maida and baking powder into a wide vessel. Add
butter and make smooth mix. Add powdered sugar. Add beaten egg, lemon
juice, milk and finely sliced lemon peel. Pour the mix into a 10 cm X
9 cm microwave proof vessel and microwave at full power for 6 minutes.
Let it remain in the oven for 5 minutes. Remove the cake and cut into
two equal flat pieces. Spread the lemon juice-butter mix on one of the
halves, keep the other on top and cover the cake with a mixture of
icing sugar, food colour and water.
