
Ingredients
Milk – 1 liter
Kalkkandam powdered – 3 cup
Rice – 2 cup
Cardamom powder – ½ tea spoon
Kismis, cashew nut cut pieces – 4 table spoon
Ghee – 1 ¼ cup
Saffron – 1 tea spoon
Method of preparation
Soak the saffron in milk for ten minutes and press thoroughly. Soak rice in water for half an hour. Boil the milk and keep it aside. Add one cup of water into it and boil again. When it get boiled add the rice and pressure cook. ( cook till you get three whistles) . take a tawa and put the kalkkandam powder and mix well. Add ghee into it little by little. Pour little ghee in a tawa and roast cashew nut, kismis . Put this fried nuts into the earlier prepared mixture and when it get thickened add some more ghee .
