1. Maida – ¼ cup
2. Baking soda – one small spoon
3. Water – 2 cup
4. Sugar / ghee – 2 cup each
5. Dates (without seeds ) – 150 gram

Method of preparation

Mix the maida and baking soda . add ¼ cup of water into the flour and make it a thick batter without lumps. Add the remaining 1 ¾ cup water into the sugar into a thick bottom pan and boil it in reduced flame and boil the syrup till it become thread consistency. Cut the dates into long pieces. Heat the ghee and dip the seedless dates in the maida batter and fry it till it become light brown colour. Then put the fried dates pieces into the sugar syrup.
