Egg – 3
Maida – 1 cup
Butter – 1 cup
Dates – 1/2 cup (cut to small pieces)
Walnut – 1/2 cup (cut to small pieces)
Salt – a pinch
Baking powder – 1 tbsp
Sugar – 1 cup (powdered)

Beat well butter and sugar. Add eggs to this one by one. Add dates and walnut to this followed by salt, maida and baking powder. Mix well. Pour the batter onto a pan spread with butter and cook in steam or bake in a pre heated oven of 200 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
