Butter Melted – to grease the Cake tin
Plain chocolate – 55 gram cut into small pieces
Sugar, butter, maida – 175 gram each
Milk – 2 table spoon
Baking powder – 1 table spoon
Egg – 3 ( beaten)
Vanilla essence – 1 tea spoon
Grated chocolate – to decorate

For filling and Frosting
Chocolate cut into small pieces – 100 gram
Butter – 55 gram
Icing sugar – 175 gram
Milk – 1 table spoon
Vanilla essence – 1 tea spoon

Method of preparation

Pre heat the oven in 180 degree Celsius. Take 9 inch circular shaped cake tin and grease it with ghee. Then place the baking paper and keep it ready.
Take a small pan and melt the chocolate and milk. Remove from the flames immediately. Take the maida and baking powder and mix well . filter the water and keep it in a separate bowl
Add the melted butter, sugar , egg, vanilla essence and beat it in a beater till it becomes soft. Pour the beaten mix into the baking tray. Keep it in the pre heated oven and and bake it for 50 – 60 minutes. Take out from the oven and after ten minutes cut the same into two round pieces. this is in order to make two layers.

For filling and Frosting

Take a small pan and heat the butter and chocolate. This should be heated in low flame. Take out the same from the flames and add icing sugar , milk and vanilla essence and mix.

To prepare cake

Take the half portion of the chocolate mix and spread it on the one portion of the cake. Close the same with the other portion ( like you make sandwich). Spread the remaining chocolate
Mixture above the cake. Decorate it with the grated chocolates.
