Aval – 2 cup
Tamarind (Valan Puli ) – small lemon size
Jaggery – 2 tsp
Grated coconut – ¼ cup
Oil – 4 spoon
Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
Dry chillies – 2 nos
Mustard seeds, Curry leaves, Coriander leaves , Salt – to taste

Preparation Method

Wash the Aval in water and make it drained by squeezing the water away. Take ¼ cup of water and add the tamarind ( Puli) Juice, Jaggery and salt and dissolve it thoroughly. Add the washed and drained Aval into it . Take a frying pan, Heat the oil and put Mustard seed and Turmeric powder and sauté. Then Add Curry Leaves, Grated coconut and mix well. Put the Aval mix into it and mix well. Puli Aval is ready.
