Thuvar Dal – ½ cup
Fenugreek – ½ tea spoon
Urud dal – 1 tea spoon
Dried chilly – 4
Coriander seed – 1 ½ table spoon
Coconut – ¼ cup
Shallots – 30
Vegetables – 2 cup
Green chilly – 2
Hing – one pinch
Tamarind juice – ½ cup
Jaggery – 1 ½ tea spoon
Mustard seed – 1 tea spoon

Method of preparation

Clean the thuvar dal and soak it and boil it. take little coconut oil or any oil and heat. Add urud dal, fenugreek seed and fry. Add curry leaves, red chillies,coconut , coriander leaves and fry till it get red colour. then add little water and grind it to become paste.

. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed and make it to get spluttered. Then add hing. Further add shallots, green chilly, curry leaves into it and mix. Add green vegetables into it and boil it. when it get boiled add tamarind juice, jaggery, salt into it and mix, after getting boiled, then add the boiled dal into it and mix. Later add the masala paste and mix well. After getting cooked you can remove from the flames and can serve.
