
Ingredients:
Tomato – 1 big
Onion – 1 medium sized
Green chillies – 3 no’s
Ginger – 1 small piece
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Coconut – ½
Garlic – one
Shallots – 4-5 nos.
Cumin seed – ¼ tsp
Coconut Oil – 2 tsp
Curry leaves – 1 strip
Dry chillies – 2 nos.
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Preparation:
Slice the tomato and Onion into very thin pieces. Take a vessel, add 2 green chillies cut into two pieces, ginger (cut into small pieces), turmeric powder, salt and half glass of water and boil. Grind the grated coconut, cumin seed, ginger, 1 green chilli, 3 shallots to make paste. Add the paste into the boiled tomato. Add required water and allow to boil. When it starts boiling, you can remove from the stove. In a pan heat the oil and roast mustard seed, shallot, dry chillies, curry leaves and mix the same in the tomato curry. Curry is ready.
