Ingredients

Rajma – 1 cup
Baking soda – ¼ tea spoon
Onion – 2
Garlic – 6 cloves
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Tomato – 4
Green chilly – 4
Coriander leaves ( chopped) – little
Oil – 3 table spoon
Chilly Powder – 2 table spoon
Coriander powder – 1 table spoon
Cumin powder – 1 tea spoon
Garam masala powder – 1 ½ tea spoon
Salt – as required

Method of preparation

Soak the Rajma in the baking soda dissolved water for one whole night. Then clean the rajma with fresh water and drain out the water completely. Take a vessel and add five cup of water and cook well by closing the lid. Keep stirring the same once in ten minutes . Then cook the tomato by adding one cup of water. Again put this in cold water and peel the skin off. Then grind it in a mixer and make tomato Puree. Cut the onion, ginger, garlic and make a paste. Chop the green chillies and coriander leaves and keep it aside. Take a vessel. Add oil , paste of onion, ginger and garlic, green chilly and mix thoroughly. After that add chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and mix. finally add tomato puree and mix. You have to stir one or two time in between. Later add the cooked Rajma and two cup of water and required salt. Then add the masala powder and spread the coriander leaves. Rajma Curry is ready to serve.
