Pumpkin ( Mathan) – 200 Gram
Green Gram (Cherupayar) – 50 gram
Coconut – 3 table spoon
Turmeric powder – less than ¼ spoon
Salt – as required
Coconut Oil – As required
Curry leaves – 1 strip

Method of cooking
Soak the Green Gram for some time and clean it, Remove the outer skin of pumpkin and cut into small cubes and clean it thoroughly, Grind the coconut and keep it aside. Pressure cook the Green Gram until it is cooked. Cook the pumpkin separately adding water, salt , turmeric powder and Chilly powder. Add the cooked pumpkin and Green Gram and cook again for some time in a low flame .Then add the coconut paste and boil for some more time. Add curry leaves and also pour some coconut oil above the dish.
