Valan puli leaves ( thalirila) ( tamarind leaves) – as required
Kanthari mulaku – as required
Salt – to taste

Method of preparation

Pluck the valanpuli thalirila (tamarind leaves) . remove the stems and clean it and make a paste in the ammikkal by adding kantari mulaku. You can also grind it in the mixie.

Spread the paste in the banana leaf ( vazhaila). Add little coconut oil if required. You can spread it like you make it for ada and can cover it by adding one more leaf. The top leaf should get burned. That is the requirement. Flip both sides and Cook .
