Potato – 4 no’s ( cut into small pieces)
Onion – 1
Coconut – half
Chilly Powder – 1 spoon
Green chillies – 3 no’s
Cumin Seed – 1 pinch
Garlic – 1 cloves
Garam Masala – 1 ½ Spoon
Chilly powder – ¼ spoon
Salt – To taste
Oil , curry leaves and mustard seed

Method of preparation

Cut Onion and Potatoes into very small pieces and Clean it . Add required water, turmeric powder and cook. On getting half cooked add the salt. Grind the grated coconut adding the chilly powder, cumin seed, garlic, Green chillies, Garam masala and make a thick paste. Heat oil in a frying pan and put the mustard seed to sputter and add the curry leaves . Following that add the cooked potato and onion and keep it in low flame till the water get drained. Then add the coconut paste and mix it well. Leave it for some time in the low flame to get the water drained. Thoran Is ready.
