Papaya ( chopped) – 1 cup
Vanpayar ( soaked) – 1 cup
Turmeric powder – 1 tea spoon
Chilly powder – 2 table spoon
Salt – as required
Grated coconut – 2 cup
Garlic – 5 cloves
Shallots – 2
Cumin seed – ½ spoon
Oil – 1 table spoon

Mustard seed, dried chilly, curry leaves, – as required to splutter.

Method of Preparation

Cook papaya, and vanpayar by adding chilly, salt and turmeric powder . Then smash it. Grind 1 ½ cup of coconut, garlic, shallots, and cumin seed together and add the paste into the cooked papaya. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seed, dried chilly, curry leaves and splutter. The add the spluttered mix and the remaining half cup of fried coconut into the cooked papaya and can remove from the stove.
