1.onion – ½ kilo
2.shallots – 16
3.mustard seed – 1 ½ tea spoon
4.urud dal – 4 tea spoon
5.oil – as required
6.salt – as required

Method of preparation

1.remove the outer skin of the onion and fry it in oil till it become red colour. Keep this aside
2. Take little oil in a pan and fry the red chillies, mustard seed.
3. Grind the fried chillies and tamarind .
4. Grind the fried onions, by adding salt.
5. Take all the paste and mix. Add the spluttered mustard seed and remove from the stove.
