1. mango – cut into pieces – 1 cup
2.dates ( seeds removed) – 6
3.onion , tomato – 1
4.coconut oil – 1 ½ table spoon
5.chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, – ¼ spoon each
6.garam masala powder, mustard see, fenugreek seed – ¼ tea spoon
7.oil – 1 table spoon
8.salt, curry leaves – as required

Method of preparation

Take a kadai, pour oil, add mustard seed, fenugreek seed, curry leaves and allow it to splutter. After that add the chopped onion, tomato and saute till it becomes brown colour. then add all the powders ingredients from 6 to 9 and mix. Then add the chopped mango pieces and mix. Then add the coconut milk, dates, little water and cook it in low flame by closing the lid. When the mango gets cooked remove from the stove.
