Koorka – 1 kg
Shallots – 12 nos
Curry leaves – 4 strips
Green chilly paste – 2 spoon
Turmeric powder – 1 spoon
Coconut oil – 2 spoon
Salt – To taste

Method of preparation

Peel off the skin from Koorka and wash thoroughly to remove the mud. Cut koorka into small pieces. Cook the same by adding Salt and Turmeric powder . Grind the shallots into rough paste , Heat coconut oil in a pan and add the grinded shallots and fry till the raw smell goes.
The add the green chilly paste and curry leaves and fry for some time. Then add the cooked
Koorka and mix well. Koorka upperi is ready.
