Idichakka (jack fruit ) – 1 small
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Coconut oil – 1 cup
Green chillies – 6 nos
Urud dal – 4 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Dry Chillies – 4 no’s
Curry leaves / salt – as required
Coconut – ½ grated

Preparation

Peel of the outer skin of the jack fruit and make it small pieces and add the required salt and ½ tsp of turmeric powder and one cup of water and boil. Once it get half boiled take out the jack fruit pieces keep it for cooling and grate it well. After that take a kadai and heat the coconut oil and put the dried chillies, mustard seed and urud dal into it and fry. Add the grated jack fruit into it. Then add the green chillies and grated coconut and saute well. You can serve hot.
