Tomato – 3
Drum stick – 3
Coconut – 1
Cumin seed – ½ tea spoon
Red Gram Thoor dal – ½ cup
Mustard seed – ½ tea spoon
Dried chilly – 4
Chilly powder – 1 ½ tea spoon
Green chilly – 4
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
Asafoetida – 2 pinch
Onion – ½ cup
Green chilly – 2 slit
Salt – as required

Method of preparation

Cook Red gram by adding turmeric powder, half potion of chilly powder and little water. Then add tomato , drumstick, and salt into it and cook it in low flame. Grind the coconut, cumin seed, and green chilly to make a paste. Add the grinded paste into the cooked gram and boil it again in low flame. Heat coconut oil in a pan . add mustard seed, cumin seed, slit green chilly, onion and fry it. Fry the onion till it become golden brown colour. When it becomes golden colour add Asafoetida and red chilly powder, into it. Cook it in low flame and add the spluttered mix and remove from stove.
