Chena (Elephant Yam) – ½ Kilo
Turmeric powder – ½ spoon
Green chilly – 2 nos
Coconut Grated – ½ cup
Shallots – 5 nos
Cumin powder – ½ spoon
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Curry leaves – 1 String
Salt / Oil – As required

Preparation Method

Pressure Cook Chena (Elephant Yam) adding Salt . Cumin powder, Turmeric powder and little water. Grind coconut , shallots , green Chillies, along with 2 spoon of water and make a paste. Once Chena (elephant yam) gets cooked blend it very well and add the coconut paste and mix well. Boil it for 5 minutes. Switch off the stove. Heat coconut oil in a pan and add mustard oil and wait for it to sputter. Add curry leaves and sauté well. Put the mix into the curry and mix well. Chena Pachadi is ready.
