Cherupayar ( green gram) – 1 cup , 3-4 hours soaked in water
Chena (elephant Yam) – chopped small
Shallots – 15
Garlic – 7-8 cloves
Dried chilly – 5
Curry leaves – 2 strand
Pepper powder – 1 tea spoon
Salt – as required
Oil – 2 table spoon
Method of preparation

Pressure cook the cherupayar and chena by adding salt and water. Have to cook till you get two whistle. Then cursh the shallots, garlic, dried chilly and keep it aside. take a pan heat oil , add the crushed ingredients into it and saute. Add pepper powder into it and mix. Then add the cooked chena(elephant yam) and cherupayar (green gram) into it and mix well. After 3-4 minutes switch off the flame.
