White Channa ( Bengal gram ) – Soaked and cooked – 1 cup
Oil – 3 tea spoon
Cumin seed – 1 tea spoon
Asafoetida – one pinch
Green chillies – 2 no cut in round shape
Ginger – 1 tea spoon
Tomato – 2 no
Turmeric powder – one pich
Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder – 3 table spoon
Salt – as required
Garam masala – one pinch
Lemon Juice – 1 table spoon
Coriander leaves – as required

Method of preparation

Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seed, asafetida powder and fry , while frying should be careful that it not getting over fried. Peal off the skin from the tomato and grind it to make a thick juice. Add this tomato juice into the pan along with the fried cumin and asafetida and boil it, while boiling add Green chillies, ginger paste, turmeric powder , chilly powder and mix. Then add the cooked channa along with required water, salt , coriander powder and close the lid, Lastly add one pinch of garam masala and lemon juice and mix properly. You can remove it from the flame and can add coriander leaves before serving.
