Chakka madal – 1 cup
Chakka kuru – 5
Grated coconut – 100 gram
Salt, mustard seed – as required
Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
Pepper powder – ½ spoon
Garlic – 5 cloves
Masala powder – 1 spoon
Coconut oil – 2 spoon
Curry leaves – 1 strip
Shallots – 5 nos

Method of preparation

Remove the thorny portion from the chakka madal. Cut itnto square pieces. Add cut chakkakuru pieces, grated coconut, turmeric powder, salt. Pepper powder, garlic and cook. Heat coconut oil and add curry leaves, shallots cut in round and fry. When it get fried add add masala powder and mix. then add coconut milk, coriander leaves, tomato and make curry. Can serve
