
Ingredients
Chakkakuru – cut into very thin pieces – 2 cup
Red Chillies – smashed – 6 nos
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Garlic – 6 cloves
Shallots – 4 nos
Ginger – a small piece
Coconut oil – 2 table spoon
Mustard seed – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 2 strings
Salt – to taste
Water – as required
Method of preparation
Grind Red chillies, shallots , garlic together into a rough paste. Cook the Chakkakuru by adding water. Once the Chakkakuru gets cooked add the paste into it. And make sure that chakkakuru is not getting over cooked. Take a pan , heat oil and add mustard seeds and allow to splutter. Add the shallots, curry leaves and pepper powder and Saute well. The add the cooked Chakkakuru into the pan and roast till the water get drained.
