
Ingredients
Chakkakuru/ jackfruit seed – 1 cup
Cheera / spinach ( finely Chopped) – 2 cup
Coconut grated – ¼ cup
Green chilly- 2 nos
Shallots – 3
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Dried Chilly – 2 nos
Mustard seed – 1 tsp
Coconut Oil – 2 spoon
Salt to taste.
Curry leaves – 2 strings
Method of preparation
Clean Chakkakuru and cut them into long thin pieces. In a vessel take enough water and add chakkakuru pieces , crushed green chillies and shallots and required salt and cook till it become soft. Wash the spinach well and chop them finely. Steam the spinach for some time till the water get drained. On getting cooked keep it separate. Heat coconut oil in a pan and splutter mustard seed, then add the curry leaves dried chilly and fry for some time. On getting fried add the cooked chakkakuru ( drain the excess water) and the steamed spinach together and mix well. Keep it low flame for some time and stir well to get mixed. Remove from fire and can serve.
