Brinjal – ¼ kilo
Tomato – 2 big sized, fried and cut
Tamarind – one clove
Mustard seed , Sugar – 1 tea spoon each
Coriander leaves – little
Salt – as required
Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
Oil – to fry
Kismis – 25 nos

Method of preparation

Soak the tamarind in water. Water should only cover the tamarind. After five minutes, take out the juice and keep it aside. cut the brinjal into small pieces.
Heat three table spoon of oil and add the mustard seed. When spluttering add turmeric powder and brinjal pieces and fry for five minutes. Then add all the ingredients except coriander leaves and cook it by closing the lid. When the gravy get thickened, spread the coriander leaves on top of it and serve.
