Bitter gourd – 200 gm
Onion – one
Tomato – one
Tamarind juice – half cup
Coriander leaf – two petals
Asafoetida – as required
Garlic – six
Black pepper powder – two teaspoon


Cook all ingredients except the bitter gourd until it boils upside down. Add bitter gourd cut into two pieces lengthwise. Put crushed black pepper and break some mustard over it. Can be served after five hours. This will remain good for fifteen days.
