Bitter Gourd – 1
Mango – 1 ( should not have much sourness)
Cumin seed – ¼ tea spoon
Coconut – 3 or 4 table spoon
Chilly powder – ½ tea spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
To splutter – coconut oil, mustard seed, dried chilly, and curry leaves

Method of preparation

Chop the bitter gourd ( kaipakka) and mango into small pieces, and cook it by adding turmeric powder, salt and chilly powder. It will be better if you cook the bitter gourd first and then add the mango. Grind the coconut and cumin seed and make a paste. When the bitter gourd and mango gets cooked, add the prepared coconut paste. Then boil it . after getting boiled remove from the stove. Then add the spluttered mustard seed. If the mango does not have sourness if you require can add the curd. Then add the required chilly.
