Bitter Gourd – 1kg
Salt – To Taste,
Coconut Oil – 5 Spoons
Mustard – 1 Spoon
Green Chilly – 4 Nos
Red Chilly Powder 1 Spoon
Turmeric Powder 1 Spoon
Coriander Powder 1 Spoon


Grooves on top of the Bitter Gourd should be scrapped off fully and rub salt into it and keep it aside for half an hour. Take a Kadai , pour oil and when it gets heat put in the mustard seeds. When it gets cracked add the Chilly powder, coriander powder and heat it . Then add in the roundly cut bitter gourd. Stir it well and cook it In low flame and stir well till it becomes red colour. The bitter gourd curry is ready to serve. .
