Ingredients

Drum Stick – two
Pumpkin – 250 gm
Sweet potato – three
Lady’s finger – 200 gm
Tamarind – small ball
Turmeric powder – quarter teaspoon
Mustard – half teaspoon
Jagery – 2 teaspoon
Chilly powder – 2 teaspoon
Asafoetida powder – two pinch
Salt – as required
Oil – four table spoon
Curry leaves – 10

Method

Scrape the drum stick and cut to 2″ pieces. Cut pumpkin into small pieces. Cut sweet potato into small pieces. Wash ladies finger and dry. cut off both ends and cut lengthwise. Dissolve tamarind in water. Cook all the vegetable except ladies finger. Fry the ladies finger in a pan until light brown and keep. Boil a cup of water in a pot. Add tamarind, chilly powder, turmeric, curry leaves, salt, jagery and the cooked vegetables. Smash the potato and pumpkin. Cook on slow flame until thickening. Fry heat some oil in a pan and fry mustard and asafoetida and pour into the stew.
