Achinga (Long beans) – 1/4 kg
Garlic cloves – 2 nos
Curry leaves – 1 strip
Green chillies – 2 nos ( slit half)
Dry red chillies – 2 nos
Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder – 1 tea spoon
Salt – As required
Coconut Oil – 2 tsp
Method of preparation
Wash long beans (Achinga) and cut into medium size pieces and keep it aside. Heat coconut oil in a pan and splutter mustard seed. Add the curry leaves, dry red chillies, garlic, green chillies and sauté. Now add the Achinga ( long beans ) , turmeric powder and salt . Add some water and close the lid. Cook the same till the water gets drained.
