
Ingredients
Potato – 2 ( medium sizes cut into pieces)
Carrot – 1 ( medium size cut into pieces)
Fenugreek leaves (methi ) -2 bundle
Onion – 2 cut into thin pieces.
Garlic crushed – 1 tea spoon
Ginger crushed – 1 tea spoon
Green chilly – 2 slit
Salt – as required
Cumin seed – 1 tea spoon
Fennel seed – ¼ tea spoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
Chilly powder – ¼ tea spoon
Garam masala powder – ¼ tea spoon
Oil – 2 table spoon
Coriander leaves – one handful
Method of preparation
Boil the potato and carrot in a cooker by adding little water, salt, chilly powder. Clean the fenugreek leaves and cut it into small pieces. Take a pan and heat. When getting heated add 2 table spoon of oil and heat. Add cumin seed and fennel seed into it. when it get spluttered add onion, ginger , garlic, green chilles into it and saute. Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder and again saute. Add fenugreek leaves and salt and mix. The cook it by closing the lid. Cook it till the leaves turn dark green colour. then dd the cooked carrot and potato into it and mix well. Then add the coriander leaves and remove it from the stove. can serve this with chappathi or rice.
