Beetroot (grated) – Half Kg
Sugar – Half Kg
Cloves – 25
Cinnamon – 8
Water – 8 cups
Lemon juice – 3 table spoon
Yeast – 2 teaspoon


Cook together the beetroot, sugar, cloves, cinnamon and water. After the beetroot is cooked, remove from heat and sieve. Pour in a jar with yeast and lemon juice and keep it with lid on for 40 days and use.
