
1.Nenthrapazham – ½ kilo
2.Sugar – 2 spoon
3.Coconut – 1 half
4.Cardamom powder – ½ tea spoon
5.Cashew nut pieces – 2 table spoon
6.Maida – 1 cup
7.Bread Crumbs – 50 gram
8.Ghee – 2 tea spoon
9.Cooking oil – to fry
Method of preparation
Boil the nenthrapazham. Peel of the skin from it and smash it. Take coconut and sugar in a vessel. Also add little water. Then keep it in the stove and heat, when the water get drained out completely and when it gets sticky add cardamom powder. Fry the cashew nut pieces separately and add into the mixture. When this mixture gets cooled add it with the smashed pazham and knead it. Then make the dough into small rolls and spread it .then cut it in preferred shapes. Then dip it in the maida batter and then dip it again into the bread crumbs and fry it in heated oil. Deep fry it till it gets golden brown colour and remove from the oil
