Potato – 5
Oil – 2 tsp
Mustard seeds – Half tsp
Chilli Powder – Half tsp
Turmeric powder – A pinch of
Salt – To taste


Heat a thick bottomed pan crackle mustard seeds. Put the diced potatoes add salt,turmeric and chilli powder stir well and cook covered for two minutes. Once the potatoes are cooked keep the stove in medium flame and continue to fry them. If you wish you can add a little more oil to get a crispy curry.
