Ayakkora (fish) – ½ Kilo
Onion – 3 nos
Garlic – 8 cloves
Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
Ginger – one big piece
Green chilly – 4 nos
Chilly powder – 2 table spoon
Curry leaves – 3 strip
Coconut (Grated) – ¼ cup
Maida – 2 cup
Egg – 4 nos
Ghee – 3 table spoon
Salt – to taste

Method of cooking

Mix Maida along with Salt, One beaten Egg and water to make the batter. Cut the fish into small pieces. Fry the fish in Coconut oil by rubbing chilly powder and salt. Heat the oil in a frying pan and roast the Onion . Add Garlic, Ginger, Green chillies, curry leaves and mix well. Crush the fried fish to make powder. Make a rough paste of grated coconut, onion and fennel seeds and mix it along with fried fish masala mix . Pour the maida batter in the pan and spread the fish masala above it and fold the four sides to make box like shape. Then dip this pathiri in the beaten egg and fry the both sides in ghee in a pan. Tasty pathiri is ready
