Mathi – ½ Kilo
Maracheeni – ¾ kilo
Green chillies – 4
Shallots – 10 cloves
Ginger – 1 piece
Garlic – 4 cloves
Curry leaves – 2 strand
Turmeric powder – 1 ¼ tea spoon
Chilly powder – 2 tea spoon
Salt – as required
Coconut oil – 1 table spoon

Method of preparation

Peel the skin from the maracheeni and chop it into small pieces, then clean it thoroughly. Add half cup of water, ¼ tea spoon of turmeric powder, required salt into it and boil it by closing the lid. ( the water should be drained out completely. Then smash it and keep it aside.
Clean the mathi and chop it. add ½ tea spoon of turmeric powder, 1 ½ tea spoon of chilly powder, required slat , one strand curry leaves, half cup of water, and cook it. the water should get drained completely. After getting cooled, hold it in tail portion and remove the bones.
Chop the onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies into small pieces and add it accordingly. Then add the curry leaves into it and saute. Then add ½ tea spoon of turmeric powder, required slat and mix. When the raw smell goes, add the earlier prepared mathi – maracheeni mix into it and mix well.

When It get cooled, grease your palms with oil and make round patties out of that mix. Then grease the dosa tawa with oil and fry both sides till it become golden colour.
